Game designers
Your game deserves a table.
Got a well-tested prototype that makes people laugh, talk and want to play again? Show it to us. We look at every submission.

per year
Three steps, not one more.
1
Film your game
3 to 5 minutes, no more. No need for a pro video: show how it plays and what hooks people in the first few minutes.
2
Send the rules and the video
To submissions@savana-games.com. Not through the contact form: your submission might not get reviewed.

We watch, we reply
We study every submission and reply to every designer. If the concept wins us over, we read the rules and test the prototype.
What we’re looking for
- Accessible, family-friendly, clever games, made to bring people together.
- Simple, effective mechanics that spark laughter and conversation.
- A game that wins over beginners from the very first round.
- Originality: something new, not a variation on what already exists.
- A prototype that has already been well tested.
What works against you
- Several prototypes sent at the same time.
- A submission without a video.
- Sending it through the contact form.
- Online tests instead of a game played at a real table.
The ideal video, minute by minute
We look at the concept before the details. A submission without a video will always be given lower priority, even if the game is good.

The pitch
Your game in one sentence: who it’s for, what kind of evening, what twist.
0:30
The goal and the components
What players are trying to do, and what’s in the box.
1:30
One turn
Show a real sequence, with real players if possible.
3:00
The big moment
What makes it unique: the bluff, the laughs, the twist.
Let’s meet
A game is judged at the table.
Twice a year, we spend whole days testing prototypes with their designers. No tests on Tabletop Simulator: they distort the experience.
Slots fill up a few weeks ahead: send your video at least two months before the show.
A choice from the heart.
We pick 1 to 2 games a year, so we can champion them for a long time. For us, publishing a game means building a real launch, in shops and online, and taking it to the countries where SAVANA is present.
One game at a time, please: we’d rather see one mature, polished prototype than several ideas in progress.
