Terms of Sales

Effective as of 9 October 2026

Article 1 – Scope

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (the “Terms of Sale”) apply, without restriction or reservation, to all sales concluded by SAVANA (the “Seller”) with buyers acting as consumers (the “Customer(s)”) who wish to purchase the products offered for sale (the “Products”) on the website https://savana-games.eu and its language versions (the “Site”).

The Seller is SAVANA, a société par actions simplifiée (French simplified joint-stock company) with share capital of 151 euros, registered with the Lille Métropole Trade and Companies Register (RCS) under number 883 775 504, whose registered office is at 30 boulevard du Général Leclerc, 59100 Roubaix (France), intra-Community VAT number FR13883775504, represented by its President, PANTHERALEO (SAS, 877 557 439). Contact: contact@savana-games.com.

The Customer declares that they are of legal age in their country of residence and have the legal capacity to place an order. The Customer acknowledges having read and accepted these Terms of Sale before placing an order. The applicable Terms of Sale are those in force on the date of the order; the Seller may amend them at any time, the new terms applying only to orders placed after they have been published online.

The Terms of Sale are available on the Site at all times. The Customer may save and print them.

Article 2 – Products

The Products are board games and their accessories. Their essential characteristics (contents, number of players, recommended age, playing time, language of the edition, etc.) are presented on each product page, which the Customer is invited to consult before ordering. The photographs are as accurate as possible but are not contractually binding.

Each edition of a game is offered in a given language: the Customer must take care to choose the edition corresponding to the desired language, as indicated on the product page.

Offers are valid while stocks last. For any question about a Product, the Customer may write to contact@savana-games.com.

Article 3 – Prices

Prices are shown on the Site in the currency of the country of delivery (euro, pound sterling or US dollar). For deliveries within the European Union and to the United Kingdom, prices include all taxes (VAT included). For deliveries to the United States, any applicable taxes are indicated before the order is confirmed.

Delivery charges are not included in the price of the Products: they are indicated, together with any conditions for free delivery, before the order is confirmed and appear on a separate line of the order summary. The price invoiced is the price in force when the order is confirmed.

An invoice is enclosed or sent to the Customer by e-mail; it may also be requested at contact@savana-games.com.

Article 4 – Orders

To place an order, the Customer adds the desired Products to their basket, which they may modify at any time, then enters their contact details and chooses their delivery method and payment method. Creating a customer account is optional.

Before confirming, the Customer can check the details of their order and its total price and correct any errors. The order is definitively placed when the Customer clicks on the payment button: this constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Sale and an obligation to pay. The Seller confirms the order by e-mail.

If a Product turns out to be unavailable after the order has been placed, the Customer is informed by e-mail and may choose between a refund for the Product concerned, made no later than 14 days after payment, or later delivery when the Product is available again.

The Seller may refuse an order in the event of a dispute relating to the payment of a previous order or of suspected fraud.

Article 5 – Payment

The price is payable in full when the order is placed. The payment methods offered depend on the country of delivery and are displayed at checkout: in particular bank cards (CB, Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, PayPal, Klarna, as well as local payment methods (Bancontact, Bizum, EPS, MB WAY, MobilePay, Satispay, etc.).

Payments are processed by secure payment service providers (Shopify Payments and its partners, PayPal, Klarna). The Seller never has access to the Customer’s full bank card details. When the Customer uses PayPal or Klarna, the specific terms of those services apply in addition to these Terms of Sale.

Article 6 – Delivery

The Products are delivered to the following countries: Metropolitan France (including Corsica), Belgium, Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Orders are prepared by the Seller’s logistics provider and handed over to partner carriers. The available delivery methods (home delivery, pick-up point, standard or express), their prices and their estimated delivery times are presented when ordering, depending on the country of delivery. If no delivery time is indicated, the Product is delivered no later than 30 days after the order.

An e-mail containing the parcel tracking number is sent to the Customer upon dispatch. The Customer must take care to provide an accurate and complete delivery address.

In the event of late delivery, the Customer may give the Seller written notice to make the delivery within a reasonable additional period. If delivery is not made within that period, the Customer may terminate the contract under the conditions set out in Articles L.216-6 et seq. of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation); the Customer is then refunded no later than 14 days after termination.

The risk of loss of or damage to the Products passes to the Customer when the Customer, or a third party designated by the Customer, takes physical possession of the Products. In the event of a damaged parcel or a missing Product, the Customer is invited to report it as soon as possible to contact@savana-games.com, with photographs, in order to facilitate the handling of their request; this step does not deprive the Customer of their rights under the legal guarantees.

For deliveries outside the European Union (United Kingdom, United States), import duties or formalities may apply; where they are known, they are indicated before the order is confirmed.

Article 7 – Transfer of ownership

The Products remain the property of the Seller until the price has been paid in full.

Article 8 – Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the Products to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give any reason for their decision. In the case of an order for several Products delivered separately, the period runs from receipt of the last Product.

To exercise this right, the Customer informs the Seller of their decision by means of an unequivocal statement sent to contact@savana-games.com, or by using the withdrawal form below. The return address is then sent to the Customer by e-mail.

The Customer returns the Products no later than 14 days after communicating their decision. The cost of returning the Products is borne by the Customer. The Products must be returned complete, with their accessories, in packaging that allows them to be transported without damage. The Customer may be held liable for any diminished value of the Products resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

The Seller refunds all sums paid, including the initial delivery charges (up to the cost of the least expensive standard delivery offered), no later than 14 days after the date on which it is informed of the decision to withdraw. The Seller may withhold the refund until it has received the Products or until the Customer has supplied proof of having sent them back, whichever is earlier. The refund is made using the same means of payment as that used for the order, unless the Customer agrees to another means.

– Ordered on / received on:
– Order number:

Article 9 – Legal guarantees

The Products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L.217-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the legal guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code). To invoke them, the Customer contacts the Seller at contact@savana-games.com. The cost of returning a non-conforming Product is borne by the Seller.

The consumer has a period of two years from delivery of the goods to obtain the application of the legal guarantee of conformity if a lack of conformity appears. During this period, the consumer is only required to establish the existence of the lack of conformity and not the date on which it appeared.

The legal guarantee of conformity entails the right to have the goods repaired or replaced within thirty days of the consumer’s request, free of charge and without significant inconvenience to the consumer.

The consumer may obtain a reduction in the purchase price while keeping the goods, or terminate the contract and obtain a full refund in return for giving back the goods, if:
1° The trader refuses to repair or replace the goods;
2° The goods are repaired or replaced after a period of thirty days;
3° The repair or replacement of the goods causes significant inconvenience to the consumer, in particular where the consumer definitively bears the cost of taking back or removing the non-conforming goods, or bears the cost of installing the repaired or replacement goods;
4° The lack of conformity of the goods persists despite the seller’s unsuccessful attempt to bring them into conformity.

The consumer is also entitled to a reduction in the price of the goods or to termination of the contract where the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies an immediate price reduction or termination of the contract. In that case, the consumer is not required to request the repair or replacement of the goods first. The consumer is not entitled to terminate the sale if the lack of conformity is minor.

Any period during which the goods are immobilised for repair or replacement suspends the remaining guarantee period until the goods are delivered back in working order.

The rights mentioned above arise from the application of Articles L.217-1 to L.217-32 of the French Consumer Code.

A seller who obstructs the application of the legal guarantee of conformity in bad faith is liable to a civil fine of up to 300,000 euros, which may be increased to up to 10% of average annual turnover (Article L.242-18-1 of the French Consumer Code).

The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects pursuant to Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for a period of two years from discovery of the defect. This guarantee entitles the consumer to a price reduction if the goods are kept, or to a full refund in return for giving back the goods.

Article 10 – Liability

The Seller is liable for the proper performance of the contract, unless it proves that the non-performance or improper performance is attributable to the Customer, to the unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party or to an event of force majeure. The Products must be used in accordance with their game rules and the warnings on their packaging (in particular the warnings relating to small parts and minimum age).

Article 11 – Personal data

The Customer’s personal data is processed by the Seller in order to manage orders and the customer relationship and, with the Customer’s consent where required, to send marketing communications. Details of the processing operations and of the Customer’s rights are set out in the Privacy Policy.

Article 12 – Customer service, complaints and mediation

For any question or complaint, the Customer may contact the Seller at contact@savana-games.com or by post at 30 boulevard du Général Leclerc, 59100 Roubaix, France.

In accordance with Articles L.611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, in the event of a dispute that has not been resolved following a prior written complaint to the Seller, the Customer may refer the matter, free of charge, to the consumer mediator to which the Seller is subject: CM2C (Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice), 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris – www.cm2c.net. The matter must be referred to the mediator within one year of the written complaint sent to the Seller.

Article 13 – Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. This choice does not deprive a Customer residing in another country of the protection afforded to them by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.

Failing an amicable settlement or resolution through mediation, the Customer may bring the dispute before the competent court for the place where they resided at the time the contract was concluded or the harmful event occurred, or before any other court having jurisdiction under the applicable legal rules.

These Terms of Sale are drawn up in French. They are translated into other languages for information purposes; in the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails, subject to the mandatory provisions applicable to the Customer.

Article 14 – Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms of Sale were declared void or unenforceable, the other provisions would remain in full force and effect.
