3.2 Evolution of data collected

The Services of the Site being dynamic, new functionalities may be offered and require the collection of new data. If data of a substantially different nature were to be collected or if the use of the User's data were to be significantly modified, the Privacy Policy would be amended accordingly.

3.3 Purpose of the data collected and legal bases

3.5 Data hosting

User data is stored in Shopify's data storage system and databases, and in the general Shopify application.

3.6.a Transmission of personal data to third parties

Personal data is used by the Seller and its co-contractors and partners for the performance of the contract and to ensure the efficiency of the sale and delivery of the Products.

  • Payment institution service providers

SAVANA recommends that the User carefully read the privacy policies of partners and co-contractors. Also, User data may be shared as part of a sale, merger or takeover of SAVANA, or in preparation for these events. Any third-party entity that purchases the company in whole or in part will be permitted to use the User's data but only in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

3.6.b Legal Disclosure to Authorized Third Parties

It is possible that the SAVANA company must disclose information concerning the User when it is required to do so by law, an injunction or any other legal measure, or if the SAVANA company believes in all good faith that such disclosure is reasonably necessary for:

  • Investigate actual or suspected illegal activities, prevent such activities, take action against them or assist judicial institutions
  • Guarantee the security or completeness of the Services
  • Exercise or protect the rights and safety of SAVANA, the User, staff or third parties

SAVANA may contest such requests when it considers that they are excessive, vague or not duly authorized, without committing to challenge all of them.

3.7 Audience measurement

SAVANA uses audience analysis tools (such as Google Analytics) to better understand the activity and improve the performance of the Site. As such, the SAVANA company provides these tools with data on the User's browsing history on the Site and information on the Products ordered. All data handled for statistical purposes outside of Europe is completely anonymised.

3.9 Security and privacy

SAVANA implements organizational, technical, software and physical measures in terms of digital security to protect personal data against alteration, destruction and unauthorized access. However, it should be noted that the Internet is not a completely secure environment and the Seller cannot guarantee the security of the transmission or storage of information on the Internet and thus the Seller cannot be held responsible in the event of failure and/ or security breach.
